Due to COVID-19 we have made a few changes in our office.

(Children under 2 are exempt from this requirement)


To avoid contact between sick and healthy patients, we are scheduling healthy patients in the morning and sick visits in the afternoon. Emergent sick calls will be handled differently.


When you arrive for your scheduled appointment we ask that you remain in your vehicle and call the office number at 717-243-1943 and choose option "1" when prompted.  You will then be given further instructions. We are trying to avoid patients sitting in our waiting room.


TELEHEALTH appointments are now being offered for those parents who are not comfortable bringing their children into the office. These appointments are available for certain conditions. If interested, please ask when scheduling.




The office will continue to open at 8:00am Monday through Friday but will now close when afternoon appointments are completed.

These times may vary.



Weekend hours are same day emergency sick call appointments.  These weekend appointments can not be pre-scheduled.

Phones will be answered starting at 7:30am on Saturdays and 11:30am on Sundays.


The office will not have regular office hours on major holidays and "observed" holidays which fall on a weekday.  However, to better serve our patients, the office will have brief morning walk-in hours for EMERGENCY sick calls that cannot wait until the office reopens for regular hours the next day.  Holiday Hours are usually at 10:00am.  Call the office that morning and the recording will confirm the time of emergency hours that day.

The only holidays the office does NOT open for emergency hours are Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.




FYI - If your insurance requires referrals to be seen elsewhere - be advised our doctors will NOT give a referral to an Urgent Care Center while we are open or after the fact.  If you feel your child needs to go to and Urgent Care Center after our office hours you MUST call our office prior to going for a referral.

CREDIT CARD on FILE POLICY - Effective 1/1/18

We are excited to offer an innovative program to help manage your health care dollars. With the changes in healthcare, many families have chosen individual high deductible health plans to help lower their monthly insurance premiums. This change is an effort to keep our costs down from mailing repeated billing statements.  With the Credit Card on File program we can process any amounts that your insurance carrier deems as your responsibility, copays, deductibles, etc. You will still receive an initial statement and still be able to pay as beforeIf you're left with a large balance we will work out a payment plan with you.  Your credit card information will not be not stored in this office. We use a secure clearinghouse that meets the industry standards set forth from the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).  Once we enter your information through this gateway, our staff does not have access to view or edit the information.

VACCINATION POLICY - Effective 1/1/17

Your child must receive the immunizations required by the Pa. School System, in the recommended time frame, or we will not be able to care for your child at this officePlease note - We do not practice fragmented care. If you choose to go to an Urgent Care Center for your routine physical we will not be able to administer the corresponding vaccines due to risks posed by the lack of an updated history and physical exam in our files.
